The Program/Project Manager is the primary contact for internal business units that have needs for a new or updated Web presence. In addition to working directly with internal business unit staff and management, s/he interacts with Product, Development, Design and Editorial colleagues to ensure efficient, quality solutions are implemented to effectively address business requirements.
To be successful in this role, the Project/Program Manager must be a professional who has demonstrated outstanding client and account management skills. S/he must have strong project management skills, as well as oral and written communications skills. A clear understanding of Web technologies that support large scale websites is essential to success, though this is not a technical project management role. (more…)
