Linux Ubuntu System Administrator-LAMP -Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
We are seeking a Linux systems administrator to install, configure, and administer systems with LAMP (Linux , Apache, MySQL, and PHP) software stack to support Drupal 7 application development and integration with legacy .NET applications and other external systems. Duties will include installing and configuring Ubuntu Linux operating system components, libraries, and applications to support Drupal 7 application development and integration.
Desired Experience/Education:
- Bachelors in relevant field; minimum
- 7 – 10 years in LAMP configuration and administration.
- Deep experience in Ubuntu Linux operating system components.
- Experienced in Work Flow processes and various capabilities in Drupal
- Experience in independently leading and working to meet the project requirements.
- Recognized as an expert in LAMP and associated technologies specifically Linux and Drupal
- Experience working with VM Ware
- Foundation, XML, XSL, XSLT, XPath, JQuery, Web Services, AJAX, VBScript,
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Webparts, workflows, SharePoint Administration, Central Administration.
- Experience in Public Sector
Other Desired Skills:
- STRONG Communication with ability to follow the lead and also independently work
- Prior experience in web or application development
- Highly proficient in LINUX and able to work at the command prompt level
- Skilled in prioritizing and planning, taking into account all relevant issues and factors (deadlines, resource availability, dependencies, etc.)
