Informatica Administrator

The Informatica Administrator will be a member of an ETL Administration team responsible for fulfilling a combination of production support and Informatica application administration tasks. The Informatica Administrator will work individually and as part of the team to render Informatica Administration support for the activities rendered by the program. The production support position will utilize knowledge of the Informatica ETL tool and the associated program environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two or more years of experience performing Informatica Administrative tasks such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of Informatica software components in a Solaris environment
• Two or more years of experience supporting ETL applications/workflow in a production environment
• Previous working experience with administering Power Center, Power Exchange, Metadata Manager, and Data Quality
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading daily operational activities of a small technical team
• Previous experience developing and executing technical project plans to meet customer requests such as software upgrades
• Previous experience with creating and delivering presentations to business users to highlight new software functionality
• Previous experience leading technical meetings with client to communicate current status of projects and issues
• Past experience supporting ETL applications/workflows connecting to Teradata, DB2, and Oracle
• Thorough understanding and previous working experience performing code promotion activities
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot application issues
• Ability to interact with client and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good team player; works well with others
