Responsibilities:
• Analyze large data sets to gain an understanding of the data, discover data anomalies, and look for ways to leverage data in support of company mission.
• Integrate data from disparate sources to help define an enterprise data dictionary.
• Define and populate conceptual and logical data models, data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
• Document key business processes, technical requirements and data transformations.
• Maintain relationships with business and technical staff across the enterprise to understand data requirements and usage patterns.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert in the Domain
•Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are seeking a senior consultant for a IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management contract job in the DC Metro area.
Master Data Management Skills:
1. Experience preferably configuring and tuning IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management solution.
2. Strong Web Service Background.
3. Experience working with Linux, Java and Spring
4. Experience working with .NET would be a plus
5. Strong SQL background.
6. Experience working with Meta Data Management or Entity Models would be a huge plus.
