We are seeking a Photo Editor for a contract job in DC. Will work in collaboration with the Director of Photography (DOP) and the Design Director, edits and researches photography and multimedia. Works with the design team to help develop photographic vision for multiple story channels. Works within an established photography budget. Comfortable negotiating usage rights for stock and assignment photography. Procures all necessary releases and contracts. Capable of acting as a producer for original photography. Ensures delivery of accurate photo captions and credits. Works closely with design team and online editors. Contributes to the creative process in coming up with photographic solutions.
