Training, Instructional Learning Design Advisor

Advisor, Awareness & Training reports directly to the Director Strategy Integration and Talent Management. The Sr. Advisor is responsible for coordinating, designing, developing and implement learning experiences and strategies in support of our technology implementations and our IT staff. Manage stakeholder relationships with internal customers and external training vendors to ensure training meets customer needs aligning the capability and vision with the business by developing, implementing and monitoring training and talent development strategies and initiatives to support user adoption and building and sustaining an agile, innovative and high performing organization. With a dedicated focus on learning and development, the Sr. Advisor collaborates with the Business Operations Leadership Team and other key stakeholders across the organization to ensure awareness and training for new initiatives targeting users outside.

The Sr. Advisor is expected to demonstrate significant technical expertise in developing and executing talent management strategies and initiatives internal to and the training and awareness initiatives to external business partners, with a concentration in learning and development.
Functional / Technical Responsibilities
•Coordinating, designing, developing and implement end user training strategies in support of our technology implementations.
•Design instruction that apply learning principles to meet business objectives
•Develops Training materials (videos, quick guides, job aids, hand-outs) as needed for technology implementation and technology products and services. Assists in content development and formatting training materials
•Determines needs and develops plans to meet the need of customers.
•Partner with domain leaders to identify training needs of ITS end users outside.
•Develop approach and process to ensure end users are provided with the necessary awareness and training to maximize value services and solutions.
•Design and produce engaging and adaptive learning solutions for IT business customers and employees in a variety of formats, such as online, mobile, in-person and blended solutions
•Act as learning design consultant with other teams within the IT department to identify their learning problems, explore options, and guide them toward the best solution for their situation
•Analyze users’ needs, iterate based on user testing and measure effectiveness of learning solutions
•Build and manage strong client relationships across the IT department
•Understand current trends and research in the Learning and Development industry and share your expertise with others, on topics such as learning objectives, social learning, mobile learning, game design, motivation, microlearning, assessment, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
6-10 years related experience in instructional learning design.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of work experience in learning design, education or organizational development.
Experience as a learning design consultant.
Business Needs Analysis
Client Care Preferred
MA/MS in instructional design/technology, education or related field
Hands-on experience with multiple authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adapt, Smartbuilder or Adobe Captivate.
Experience designing and facilitating instructor-led training programs in a variety of non-technical topics.
Strong project management capability, able to multi-task and deliver across multiple concurrent workstreams
Ability to quickly build credibility and collaborative relationships with people across the organization
An interest in, and passion for, the art and science of learning, development and human performance
Experience in Information Technology environment.
