Test Engineer with performance and stress test experience to support testing activities for multiple, sometimes complex, application development and enhancement projects as well as infrastructure upgrade and implementation projects. Working in an Agile environment, this position also supports the evolution of the organization’s systems testing practice to provide consistency in delivering quality systems for all Organization’s system implementations. The Test Engineer will work closely with business analysts, developers and systems analysts to maximize efficiencies in managing and executing appropriate test cycles, leveraging automated testing tools, when applicable, to construct effective functional, performance, stress and regression test suites.
The main function of a Tester is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.
Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. As a member of the Systems Integration team, the Test Framework Engineer is responsible for leading the development of automated test suites for highly complex software and hardware applications and for the implementation, enhancement & maintenance of test frameworks. The primary goal of the Test Framework Engineer role is to continually improve the efficiency & quality of automated testing; and provide the test engineers (automation and performance) with a reliable, scalable and productive framework within which to develop and execute their tests consistent with the standards of SDLC.
