We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert for an Enterprise Configuration Management system. The position will lead efforts in providing application and platform support for the Enterprise Configuration Management System (eCMS) comprised of a discovery and dependency mapping tools and configuration management database. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
• Review and address eCMS application issues & problems
• Manage the eCMS Development, Test and Production environments
• Perform application and server platform daily checks
• Optimize and tune application and server performance
• Review, test and plan application upgrades and updates
• Develop application and infrastructure mappings and reports
• Maintain eCMS Operations Runbook
• Ensure assignments are completed on time
• Demonstrate strong technical, written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to organize priories and assignments
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of related experience, or 11 years of related experience will satisfy degree and experience requirements
• 2-3 Years of experience in configuring, administering and supporting Windows Servers 2003 and above
• 1-2 Years of experience in configuring, administering and supporting Microsoft SQL Database Servers
• Proven experience with maintaining, supporting and managing a Configuration Management System (CMS).
• Proven experience in using CMS modeling and reporting
• Knowledge of hardware and technical software operations for medium- to large- organizations
• Experience with development methodologies using different software languages
• Excellent knowledge of software languages and COTS applications
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Visio

• ITILv3 certification preferred
• HP Configuration Management System (CMS) application in configuring and implementing an enterprise wide configuration management discovery and dependency mapping tool for systems and applications
• Knowledge or experience in development and integration using object oriented languages (i.e. Java, .NET and XML)
• Knowledge or experience in writing scripts based on JYTHON, JSCRIPT, TQL or PL-SQL (Oracle)
