Great Plains Administrator

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Administrator to work as a full-time employee supporting and troubleshooting application issues, bugs, and performance issues; performing end-user and power-user training for both GP and Financial operations. Should be able to evaluate and apply patches/upgrades to the GP application; acts as a SME for GP and provide recommendations to management on operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:
*Support day-to-day operations of Financial Applications including Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Forecaster, FRx, and related 3rd party applications across multiple platforms at various stages of the product lifecycle
*SME for all Financial Applications, related 3rd party modules, SSRS, SmartConnect/Scribe
*Familiarity with Dynamics CRM  and experience integrating the two applications is highly desired
*Develop work plans and track/report status of assigned projects/tasks
*Develop and maintain technical requirements and design documentation
*Provide 24-hour support for new releases to production as needed
*Provide training to users as necessary.

Skills required
*Bachelor*s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field such as Accounting
*5 years of application support and/or application administration experience for Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Forecaster and FRx preferably in Citrix environment
*Experience with Great Plains 2010 is highly desired
*ETL experience using one or more of these technologies: Scribe, SSIS, SmartConnect
*Experience with installing, configuring and supporting 3rd party modules for GP
*Ability to write and support SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
*Ability to develop technical plans related to application installations, including the ability to determine hardware and software requirements for application installations
*Analytical design and problem solving skills
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
