SCRUM Project Manager- Scrum Alliance Scrum Master, PMP

As an experienced scrum master you will coach and guide several agile teams through the scrum process on the path to becoming excellent performing teams.

Primary Responsibilities will be to facilitate effective and efficient meetings including; Release and Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, and Daily Scrum – Maintain transparency into the team*s work through product and sprint backlogs, burn-down charts, and other interdepartmental communications – Be a resource to each team member and support the removal of roadblocks as required – Isolate root problems from exposed symptoms and aid in resolutions – Leverage conflict resolution strategies in resolving differences and organizational impediments – Maintain a non-biased, third-person viewpoint to see multiple sides of conversations – Engage multiple roles and stakeholders in critical discussion, complex new product development discovery and building consensus – Support product managers to maximize ROI and meet the organizations objectives – Assist with product backlog maintenance, story prioritization, reporting, and resolution of defects, as directed by product owners. – Enable and facilitate communication between Scrum teams and PMO

Desired Skills and Experience: – At least 5 years of project or product management experience in web-based software development – At least 2 years experience as Scrum Master – Scrum Alliance Scrum Master certification preferred – PMP preferred – Strong Facilitation and Presentation Skills – Comprehensive knowledge of (and enthusiasm for) interactive web products, web 2.0 technologies and Java – Ability to work effectively and get things done in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities – Ability to translate complex information into coherent ideas and effectively communicate those ideas to others – Experience working in a Microsoft Development Technologies (.NET framework, SQL Server) environment preferred – Experience with Rally preferred – Experience with Planview a plus
