.NET Developer – Visual Studio, C#

.NET Developer Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work under the direction of a .Net solution lead developer.
The successful candidate will provide support for the development of software that will be deployed into the production environment.
The successful candidate will perform as a .Net developer on a software development/maintenance project.
The successful candidate will design, develop, code, test, and debug software solutions (enhancements or bug fixes) assigned.
The successful candidate will work with the business analysis staff to understand requirements and to develop solutions.
The successful candidate will work with test team staff to understand defects found during functional and system testing.

Required Skills:
Candidate must have at least 6 – 9 years of experience.
Candidate must have technical knowledge of client/server technology.
Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, including VS 2008 or higher.
Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft .NET Framework, including version 3.5.
Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft C#.NET and must be conversant in object oriented programming techniques
Candidate must have experience working both with both complex GUI applications and must have extensive experience working backend systems
Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:
Candidates having experience working with Rational RequisitePro and ClearQuest is desired.

Education Requirements:
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Advanced degree preferred
